Some people talk about the public adjusting profession and what it could and should be. Some people fight for it. Brian Goodman has been in the middle of these debates and policy decisions impacting public adjusters for a quarter of a century.
If you’ve read my earlier reflections about Brian Goodman in NAPIA’s Good Shepherd and the person whom he replaced in A Blast from the Past and Remembering NAPIA’s Paul Cordish, you know Goodman is more than just the General Counsel of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA). He’s the profession’s steady hand in the storms of legislative battles, regulatory skirmishes, insurance industry smear campaigns and the day-to-day mentor to leaders in the public adjusting community.
This Thursday at 6 p.m. EST, the “Good Shepherd” steps into the Claim Game hot seat. You’ll have your chance to put him there. We’re going live, with your questions front and center. There are no scripted talking points at Claim Game. No pre-screened fluff. If it matters to public adjusters, policyholders, or anyone fighting for fairness in property insurance claims or a critic of the public adjusting industry, it’s fair game for your questions.
Want to ask Brian Goodmand about “anti-public adjuster” endorsements sweeping surplus lines? How to stop bad-faith appraisal tactics? Where the next big legislative threat—or opportunity—lies? This is your shot.
When: Thursday, 6 p.m. EST

Challenge what I have called “the Good Shepherd” of public adjusting yourself.
Because in this Claim Game, the audience isn’t just watching. You’re part of the play.

Thought For The Day
The insurance companies have placed too much emphasis on the selling of insurance and not enough on the proper handling of loss adjustments, forgetting that only a small percentage of the insuring public has occasion to call upon their insurance contracts to perform.
