Seyfarth Receives Strong Recognition Again in Chambers USA 2025


Seyfarth once again earned widespread praise and high rankings in the 2025 edition of Chambers USA, both for practices and individual lawyers.

For practices:

  • The firm continued to receive Band 1 recognition nationally for Labor & Employment and Retail.
  • The Labor & Employment practice also gained Band 1 status in the states of Illinois (The Elite), Georgia, and Massachusetts.
  • Seyfarth’s Construction practice was cited again in Band 1 for the District of Columbia.
  • Other nationally ranked practices include: Construction; Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation; ERISA Litigation; Government Contracts: The Elite, Immigration; Investment Funds: Investor Representation; Real Estate; and Transportation: Road (Automotive).

Seyfarth’s individual attorneys also attained prominent recognition in the 2025 Chambers USA rankings, achieving high rankings across a variety of practices and regions:

  • Four Seyfarth lawyers earned Band 1 rankings in Labor & Employment in their respective regions. Ariel Cudkowicz (Massachusetts) achieved that honor for the first time, while Lisa Damon (Massachusetts), Camille Olson (Illinois), Brett Bartlett (Georgia) all maintained their top tier rankings.

  • Four additional Seyfarth attorneys were named as “Up and Coming:” Edward Arnold (Government Contracts – USA – Nationwide), Meghan Douris and Ashley Sherwood (both Construction – Washington state), and Howard Wexler (Labor & Employment – New York).

In total:

  • 38 Seyfarth practices earned a Chambers USA ranking, including 10 in Band 2.
  • 82 individual attorneys gained Chambers USA recognition, including four who were recognized in two separate categories (Marshall Babson, William Hill, Amy Hoang, and Leon Rodriguez).
  • Two of the ranked Seyfarth lawyers recently joined the firm as lateral partners: Lisa Loesel and Pete Roberts.

The Chambers rankings are based on “thousands of one-on-one interviews each year with in-house counsel and third-party experts.”
