August 22, 2025 – Seyfarth Shaw LLP partners Robert Stevens and Kevin Woolf have earned lofty recognition for the second consecutive year as BTI Client Service All-Stars for 2025. Stevens and Woolf are among a select group of only 30 lawyers nationally who have been chosen for the honor for the past two years.
BTI Consulting Group calls its All-Star award “the hardest – and most meaningful – ranking and recognition in the world. No one gets on this list unless a top legal decision maker recognizes them, without prompt or suggestion, along with a good reason why. No law firm or attorney can pay, influence, or refer themselves in. Attorneys only get on this list by outperforming everyone else. Once a BTI Client Service All-Star – always an All-Star. 30 years of BTI Client Service All-Star research shows these attorneys always deliver more.”
BTI cited high praise from clients for Stevens such as:
- “Bob’s subject matter expertise means he can give us clear, practical guidance to navigate sensitive issues with confidence.”
- “Bob has excellent subject matter expertise. He’s my go-to.”
Woolf earned client kudos that included:
- “Kevin is a very sophisticated and practical commercial real estate lawyer.”
- “Kevin is a great commercial real estate lawyer. Practical, smart and fast!”
Stevens, a member of Seyfarth’s highly recognized Labor & Employment practice, concentrates his Complex Business and Employment Litigation practice on litigation and counseling matters involving complex business, restrictive covenant, trade secret, and employment disputes. Stevens, who is based in Atlanta, is an experienced trial attorney representing clients in bench and jury trials in dozens of state and federal tribunals throughout the United States.
Stevens explained his client philosophy to BTI: “My approach to clients centers on building relationships founded on a deep understanding of the client’s business and goals, as well as those of the in-house counsel with whom I closely work. By understanding the business and legal objectives for both the company and the individuals with whom I directly work, I can offer proactive legal counsel that adds tangible value and fosters success for both.”
Woolf, a member of Seyfarth’s national Real Estate department, recognized as one of the largest in the US, is entrusted by clients to help them with the purchase, sale, or lease of real property, personal property, technology, and services. Woolf, who divides his time between the firm’s Boston, Chicago, and Atlanta offices, collaborates with clients to design, refine, and execute high-volume projects. Woolf has earned a strong reputation for negotiating common-sense, practical deals that advance the goals of all involved, often using the principles of Lean Six Sigma.
Woolf told BTI why he has earned their trust and confidence throughout his career:
“Issue-spotting is table stakes; helping to craft a menu of solutions, and then executing on one or more of those solutions as that is when outside counsel is put to his or her highest and best use. Coincidentally, it also a whole lot more fun than being a proverbial transactional speed bump. With the help of talented colleagues ranging from JD technologists to Lean SixSigma certified blackbelt project managers, I am able to tap battle-proven process management skills and cutting-edge technology tools to bring order to chaos on high volume and/or high stakes transactions. But it all starts and ends with the client.
“We can set up the best process in the industry, but if the results are not in line with the client’s goals, then what’s the point? I wake up every morning cognizant that it is a privilege to be asked to work on projects which are important to the client and dedicate that day’s effort to advancing their goals as if they were my own.”
