In Olson’s profile, IEL wrote:

“She has worked with various industry representatives over the last 20 years to assist in forging legislative solutions on both state and federal levels with respect to employment discrimination, harassment, independent contractor status, and many other areas. She frequently works with leaders of business and government on ways to improve EEOC internal governance issues, including analyzing charge backlog, double delegation issues, and submitting comments on behalf of employers nationwide on proposed EEOC guidance on workplace retaliation and harassment.”

In her IEL profile, Olson said:

“In what has been described as the largest jury verdict in a non-class action case in US history, I was part of a trial team in HP v. Oracle, litigating on behalf of HP regarding multiple contract and other California advertising and unfair business competition claims against Oracle. The jury ultimately awarded a full victory in favor of HP in 2016. In July 2021, an appellate court affirmed HP’s $4.5 billion judgment, which was ultimately paid in October 2022. Our entire HP trial team was awarded the first ever ‘Innovation in Collaboration’ honor by the Financial Times.”
