Seyfarth’s distinctive firmwide initiative to further drive innovation, the SEYence Fair, was featured in Law360’s June 24 article, “Seyfarth To Run Second Firmwide Innovation Contest.” The piece highlights Seyfarth’s plan to build on last year’s successful initiative by inviting all firm personnel to brainstorm and submit ideas to improve operations and the delivery of legal services, while continuing to promote innovation and forward-thinking across the firm.
Seyfarth chair and managing partner Lorie Almon said, “Our clients expect us to look around the corner and help solve their most pressing challenges. The SEYence Fair is one example of a homegrown initiative that empowers all our people, regardless of their role at Seyfarth, to think boldly, collaborate across functions, and explore what’s possible.”
The second annual contest will introduce two new categories: Best Non-Tech Innovation and Best Half-Baked Idea, the latter recognizing early-stage concepts that show potential but require further development.
Chief Innovation & Strategic Design Officer Zeynep Ersin noted, “The SEYence Fair showcases the ingenuity, design thinking and problem-solving mindset that is critical to our success as a firm. We are fortunate to be able to tap the knowledge and creativity of some of the world’s best lawyers and law firm professionals to conceptualize innovative solutions to real challenges.”
